Thrown cups with blue and green painted forms and a clear speckled glaze

I enjoy making simple functional forms that are meant to be handled and enjoyed on a daily basis. This earthenware cup was thrown on the wheel the coloured splotches are painted on and it is then bisque fired, after this step the glaze is applied then the piece is fired again to 1100 degrees in an electric kiln.

Made from Earthenware clay

Finished with a clear speckled glaze
