New version of Locket’s Favourite Shawl #3 Autumn Leaves

This shawl was an absolute delight to design and knit! I took the yarns and needles on holiday in Scotland in August and loved every minute of relaxing and creating it - and yes, even knitting as I walked up and down hills!

It‘s a bit of a magical project because it takes good, honest, hardworking Shetland wool and combines it with extravagant brushed Mohair and silk to make a luxurious, soft and snuggly project without the massive price tag!

This shawl is BIG and is the ultimate “hug” - perfect for the cold snap we are apparently expecting!

This special colour-way was designed for my dear friend Edwina and was inspired by photographs of Gwithian beach from her holiday in Cornwall.

The kit contains:

9 x 25g balls of Jamiesons of Shetland Spindrift wool in a gently graded colour palette

2 x 50g skeins of natural cream brushed mohair and silk laceweight

Printed pattern designed by me

in an organza drawstring bag
