Locket’s Bird Egg mini skein set

Nature provides us with such beautiful colours, speckles and shades and a palette drawn from British bird eggs just makes me happy.

I come from a family of keen wildlife enthusiasts with my own ever growing collection of modern and vintage natural history books. My childhood was spent outside, up a tree (with a book) or sitting in my chicken pen (with  book) or going off on walks with big sister Ally (and her dog Piddle) or helping look after the multitude of birds of all description that we owned as pets, bred for conservation purposes or were brought wounded and close to death to be “fixed” by my dad - local doctor and renowned “bird-man”!

In this special Bird Egg set you will receive

• 6 x 20g hand dyed skeins of 4ply 75/25 superwash Blue Faced Leicester/nylon,
• a bird stitch marker
• packed in a drawstring organza bag
