Language of Flowers - Forget me Not Card

In the Victorian era, friends and lovers sent secret messages through gifts of carefully considered flowers. Each flower had its own meanings and a combination of different flowers could send an elaborate message which could be translated using a secret dictionary.

This A6 card featuring a forget-me-not stem and a common blue butterfly made from cut paper collage, is printed on 300gsm card stock with a Kraft envelope and carefully packed in tissue paper. the card is blank for your own message with an explanation of the Victorian language of flowers and the forget-me-not's meaning on the back.
