8. Mindful Stitching with the Border Tart! Saturday 23rd May 10.30-1

Come along to Lucy Locket Land and relax into some mindful stitching with the awesome Lindsay Roberts aka Border Tart as she introduces us to Nine Patch Boro!

No prior experience or confidence required.

Using a range of supplied fabrics, we will tack down a patchwork of blue fabrics. Then begins the gentle and calming pleasure of filling the blocks with pattern. With no rules and no pressure, you can work in simple running stitch or more elaborately if you prefer. Lose yourself in observing the stately progress of your needle, introducing colour with thread.

All materials will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own needles, embroidery threads, and scissors if they wish.

All guest workshops must be paid for in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable unless you can find someone to take your place.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be in plentiful supply and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch and stay on for Knit Group in the afternoon if you would like to continue working on your stitched piece. 

Lindsay will be staying on in the afternoon and displaying her wonderful products in a little pop up shop!
